Family Programs

"Share the Wild" with our fun programs for the whole family!

Our family-based education programs, classes and clubs offer a wonderful way for the whole family to have fun while exploring and learning together!  Each year, more than 2,500 toddlers, preschoolers and their parents participate in early childhood programming at the Zoo, discovering the joy of learning through hands-on exploration and multi-sensory experiences.  "Big kids" (elementary school-aged children) have fun, develop an appreciation for the natural world and enrich their sense of environmental stewardship.  Teens can take an active role in shaping their futures and their own communities, and teens through adults can learn about important and interesting conservation topics.
