Members: $170 (Full Day $340) / Non-Members: $195 (Full Day $390)

Tadpole Academy is a great way to introduce your 4 - 5 year old to ZooCamp! Each session is only three hours long and includes stories, crafts, games, encounters with wild animal ambassadors and zoo exploration in a safe, small group of only 15 campers per week. 

Each Tadpole Academy camper will receive a ZooCamp t-shirt, a chance to feed the goats in Alex and Ani Farmyard and a ZooCamp Access Pass.

Note: All Tadpole Academy campers must be completely toilet trained (requiring no assistance in the bathroom).

Morning session runs 8:30 am - 11:30 am, Monday through Friday

Afternoon session runs 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday

*Supervision is provided between sessions for Full Day campers.

New for 2017 – Both 4 & 5 year olds may be registered for a morning and afternoon session of the same week for a full day of Tadpole Academy!

AM: Michael Dahl

Full of animal-inspired super heroes, goofy monsters and hilarious jokes all inspired by the animal kingdom, Michael Dahl’s books are sweet, silly and tons of fun!

PM: Denise Fleming  **Just 1 spot left

From Underground to the Tall, Tall Grass, from the farm to the woods, Denise Fleming’s books explore the world in a whimsical, colorful way!

SPRING TADPOLE ACADEMY:  April 17 - 21

Theme: Who's In Your Backyard?  

AM: Over the Hedge

Who’s living in your backyard? Campers will investigate critters from underground burrows and tunnels to the soaring treetops of our own backyards.

PM: What’s Bugging You?!

Calling all young Entomologist! From creepy crawlers to wiggly worms, campers will join us as we discover the amazing world of these often overlooked creatures.

SUMMER TADPOLE

Odd Weeks: Home Sweet Habitat

From the sands of the desert to the mist of the rainforest, campers will discover how these habitats and the animals that call them home change from day to night.

Even Weeks: What’s Size Got To Do With It?

Reptiles, mammals, amphibians, oh my! From the large to the little, campers will discover that the animal kingdom really does come in all different shapes and sizes.

PM:  The Animal Kingdom’s Biggest
