A trio of newborn otter pups is calling Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence home. The Zoo announced that the triplets are expected to make their public debut during the week of April 29. “The pups had their first veterinary exam at 7 weeks old, when they received an overall check-up & a first round of vaccinations,” the Zoo noted on social media Wednesday.
The post also included a 55-second video, which showed Zoo employees snuggling and petting the pups, as well as a doctor examining them and giving them shots.
While the Zoo welcomed the pups on Feb. 7, they will remain off-exhibit with their mother for the time being.
