The Jolly Old Elf himself is inviting you to ring in the holidays at the Zoo on November 29, when he arrives in high-flying style for the first of many appearances.
Join us at 9 a.m. and be part of the fun:
- Watch as Santa makes his grand entrance on board a helicopter piloted by Birds’ Eye View Helicopters of Middletown, RI at just about 9:20 a.m.
- After greeting the crowd, Santa will board a holiday train to head up a festive parade through the Zoo. The public is invited to bring new, unwrapped gifts to pack into Santa’s train for donation to Toys for Tots.
- With paid admission to the Zoo, visitors can participate in Santa's parade, which will also feature appearances by his elves, holiday choruses, Miss Teen Rhode Island, and members of the Marine Corps, who will accept the toy donations on behalf of Toys for Tots.
- Cap it off with a very merry finale at the Zoo’s new Jambo Junction African Village, then enjoy your day at the Zoo.
What a wild way to see Santa and ring in the holiday season!
