Flying WILDBird Conservation for Middle School Students

FEE:  $25.00/person(This workshop is extended two hours to include basic bird information.  Please bring your own lunch for this workshop.)

Flying WILD is an exciting new education program that introduces middle school students to bird conservation through school bird festivals, hands-on classroom activities, and community service projects.  Through a new partnership with the Council for Environmental Education (the national office for Flying WILD and Project WILD) the Audubon Society of Rhode Island and RIEEA (Rhode Island Environmental Education Association) are now offering Flying WILD training and materials in Rhode Island.  Each workshop participant will receive the program publication, Flying WILD: An Educator’s Guide to Celebrating Birds.  For more information about Flying WILD, visit www.flyingwild.org.
