(ages 20 - 36 months)

The Toddler Trek program includes songs, movement, biofacts, pictures, animal visitors, and interactive play stations.  Developmentally appropriate lessons help the children acquire new skills while exploring through play.  Each 60-minute class will include a nature or animal theme for you and your child to learn about together.  Children receive a “passport” for collecting stamps to celebrate their participation in each program.
Members: $14 per child / Non-members: $20 per child 
*Class size, 5 min. - 10 max. Children must be accompanied by an adult.  No younger or older siblings please.*

Preschool Adventures (ages 3 - 5)child and dad
These 90-minute programs are for children three to five years old accompanied by an adult. Each program focuses on a special animal or area of the
Zoo and  present opportunities for adult/child pairs to make discoveries together.  Programs include a lesson, snack, and a craft activity.
Members: $14 per child / Non-members: $20 per child

They are Pink!!  Wait, are they pink?  Well, their head is pink, their neck is pink, their body is pink, their wings are pink, their ankles are pink, their feet are pink, and even their eyes are a pale shade of... pink.  Yes!! They are pink, but only when they eat the food which turns them pink.  Join us at the zoo and learn about the different things flamingos eat to turn pink.

Wild Tales (ages 3 - 5)children with educator at story time
Wild Tales is story time where we’ll share great stories new and old. A shorter program than our Preschool Adventures classes, Wild Tales is designed to pique children’s interest in broader wildlife themes. Each class runs approximately 60 minutes and will include a story, “make your own” snack activity, and up close experiences with nature and wildlife. Stories change monthly.
