At Roger Williams Park Zoo, we are always looking for ways to up the experience for our guests. That is why we are bringing back seasonal offerings that make every Zoo visit an adventure for the whole family.

*NEW* Birds from Down Under

April 16, 2016 - Labor Day (Sept. 5)

“Birds from Down Under” will offer an exciting, immersive experience with bird species native to Australia. Visitors will stroll in delight among over 500 birds including grass parakeets, cockatiels and various parrot species, while enjoying the thrill of feeding the colorful creatures and learning about conservation challenges they face in their natural habitats.

Exhibit hours: 10:30am - 4:30pm, with the last ticket sold at 4:15pm
Price: $3 per person, (no age restrictions; toddlers age one and under enter for free).
RWP Zoo members receive a $1 discount.

Each person will receive a seed stick upon admission to the exhibit.

Please note: The exhibit is wheelchair accessible, however, stollers are not allowed for the safety of the animals.

Camel Rides

April 16, 2016 - Labor Day (Sept. 5)

Get up-close this summer with our seasonal camel rides! Experience these majestic animals like never before in a safe environment with experts on hand to lead you around a track while riding a trained camel. The camel rides are located adjacent to the Big Backyard.

Hours: 10am - 4:30pm, with the last admission at 4:15pm
Price: $6 per person (no age restrictions; all riders must be ticketed regardless of age)

RWP Zoo members receive a $1 discount.
Please note: The camel rides are not wheelchair or stroller accessible.
