Roger Williams Park Zoo Offers Two Sensory-Friendly Nights during Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular

Friday, October 8, 2021
Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular will offer two sensory friendly evenings for those with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and sensory processing differences and their families from 5:00 – 6:00 pm Tuesday, October 26 and Wednesday October 27.

For maximum enjoyment, over 6000 pumpkins will still light up the Zoo’s Wetlands Trail, but there will be no music or special effects. Presented by Citizens, this year’s spectacular takes visitors on a historical journey from the days of ragtime and swing to rock and roll and hip hop as we celebrate the greatest music and achievements from the last 150 years.

Tickets are only available onsite at the admissions booth for both nights.  (All other tickets are only available online)

Ticket prices for these two events are $16 for adults: $13 for children ages two – twelve. Children one and under are free, but still need a ticket.  Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular is open rain

or shine. In the case of light to moderate rain, the show will be open. There will be no refunds or rescheduling. Please check the website or visit Facebook for updates.
