I'm a Zoo member. What does this closing mean for me?

Our Zoo members are a top priority! Once we have reestablished operations, our Membership team will reach out to all current members and we will be glad to assist you. Updates regarding operations will be posted on social media and to our website. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Is April Camp (Spring Adventures and Spring Tadpole Academy) cancelled for April 13-17th?

Yes, April Camp is cancelled for April 13-17th. We will be issuing full refunds to all registered participants. Refunds will be issued as soon as possible. Please note that it may take one week or more for your refund to be processed. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

How are we handling the interviewing Counselors in Training who were scheduled for April Camp?

We will be in touch with all applicant Counselors in Training with what the next steps will be. We are currently in the process of consulting with our Manager of Volunteer Resources to determine the plan moving forward. Is the Breakfast with the Moon Bear program on March 29th cancelled?

Will the Bronx Zoo Day Trip proceed as planned on May 2nd?

Will Scout Safari Night proceed as planned on May 16th?

Are there plans in place for Summer ZooCamp?

We are constantly monitoring the situation and consulting with state health care professionals. We are following guidelines set out by health care professionals and taking precautions to mitigate any risk for Summer ZooCamp. As the situation is fluid, we will be sending out updates to our families as we come closer to our Summer ZooCamp season. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
