Sustainable sweets & treats

Shop smart with sustainable palm-oil candy options.
Use this guide created by our friends at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, to be sure you’re supporting brands that have committed to using sustainable palm oil. Palm oil is the world’s most widely produced vegetable oil. About half of all items found on supermarket shelves contain palm oil – including most Halloween candy. The high demand, however, is threatening tropical forests and animals, such as giant anteaters and tree kangaroos, that call these areas home.
