The ride is open daily from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, with the last entry at 3:45 pm. Each experience lasts for approximately 7 minutes. Ride is located across from red wolf and Masai giraffe habitats. Tickets can be purchased online, at the front admissions gate, or on-site at the VR attraction.

Gorilla Trek

Journey to the forests of East Africa to join a dedicated team of conservationists. Get closer than ever before to a troop of endangered gorillas from the depths of Rwanda in a new exhilarating perspective!

With only 1,000 mountain gorillas left in their natural habitat, this one-of-a-kind encounter gives you the chance to engage with this extraordinary species and learn more about how they behave with one another. Witness the alpha silverback protect its family when a subordinate gorilla fights for leadership.

Swimming with Humpbacks

Go on a dynamic educational journey as we search undersea and in the air, following a team of marine biologists who find a pod of humpbacks to the South Pacific near the island of Tonga. Beginning with a mating ritual, we soon come upon a newborn and its mother. We see how the behaviour of the mother evolves as the calf gets older.

This is a truly immersive and goosebump-inducing close encounter with one of the largest and gentlest mammals on the planet!

The Great Migration

Take an incredible journey through Africa’s Great Migration. Each year millions of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes traverse East Africa’s wide-open grasslands in a continuous, circular trek in search of fresh grazing lands and water.

Witness how these millions of free-roaming animals make their way through the peaks and perils of Africa’s savannah.

VR Safety Guidelines

This is a stationary amusement device that uses multi-directional movement (pitch, roll, and heave) to give guests the feeling of motion without moving from a fixed position on the floor. A computer program gives guests visual stimulation through individual virtual reality headsets integrated with motion commands to the motors. The ride can accommodate six (6) guests.

  • This experience is suitable for anyone over 40 inches in height and five (5) years of age.
  • Maximum one person per seat at all times.
  • Guests and/or their adult/guardian are responsible for following the safety guidelines provided.
  • Children should be seated near their parents or guardians.
  • Spectators are not permitted to physically interact with equipment and/or users.
  • Any loose articles, such as scarves, glasses, mobile phones, etc. should be secured or removed before the start of the experience.
VR Accessibility

This experience is not recommended for guests who suffer from photosensitive epilepsy, expectant mothers and guests with a history of heart conditions, seizure disorders, or abnormal blood pressure, back, neck or shoulder conditions, and/or those who have a fear of enclosed spaces.

It is recommended that guests with medical devices (including implanted, connected and external) please follow the directions of the device manufacturer or consult their healthcare provider.
