Registration for Conservation Heroes ZooCamp is now open!
It’s a wild world, and one that needs leaders passionate about animals, the environment & conservation! In this one-week camp at the Zoo, campers will be empowered to become leaders in conservation through teambuilding and leadership activities, engagement in inquiry activities, games, encounters with wild animal ambassadors, visits to animal exhibits and more. Activities have been updated to include even more outdoor exploration!
Each Conservation Heroes camper will receive a ZooCamp t-shirt, a chance to feed the goats in the new Alex and Ani Farmyard, a trip through the butterfly exhibit, and a ZooCamp Access Pass.
Conservation Heroes runs 8:30 am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Please Note: This is not a travel camp.
Members: $270 / Non-members: $295
2015 THEME: Wild By Design
The 21st century Zoo is a place for education, conservation & research. We’ll discover careers at the Zoo, from zookeepers to exhibit designers to educators, and learn how working together can make a difference for animals & the environment. Campers will ask themselves “what would I do if I ran a Zoo?” and design their own!
