31st Annual Zoobilee! Feast with the Beasts Roars to Life June 24th
PROVIDENCE, RI (May 17, 2023) Tickets are now on sale for “the wildest party of the year” – Roger Williams Park Zoo’s 31st annual fundraising bash, Zoobilee! Feast with the Beasts, presented by BankRI. Zoobilee is the Zoo’s largest single-night fundraiser featuring fine fare from dozens of the area’s best restaurants and caterers. Guests (21+ only) will enjoy fabulous entertainment, including live music, dancing, and other fun surprises!
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, June 24th from 7:00 to 11:00 pm. Guests will feast on fine food and drink from local favorites such as Durk’s Bar-B-Q, Dolores, Legal Sea Foods, RASA, Res American Bistro, The Trap Brew Pub & Grill, The River Social and many delicious dessert vendors. Zoo-themed cocktails, like Roger’s Red Mule, will be shaken and stirred at the popular “Zootini Cocktail Bar” by premier beverage sponsor Douglas Wine & Spirits.
New this year, each Zoobilee ticket also includes admission to Dinosaurs Among Us, featuring 60 life-size animatronic dinosaurs, the largest outdoor exhibit ever! Please note Roger Williams Park Zoo is closed all day on June 24 to prepare for the event.
The night’s entertainment includes live music by New England’s premiere party band, Mystique, a wine and beer bottle bazaar, and the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the Zoo’s ambassador animals. You never know what wild critters you might meet!
In addition to the great party, there is an online auction with a wide variety of unique items and experiences. The auction offers over 100 items, including priceless behind-the-scenes animal encounters, sports memorabilia, exciting getaways, theater tickets, unique entertainment packages and more. The funds generated from the event help to underwrite the Zoo’s animal care and award-winning environmental education and conservation programs. These programs include the conservation of threatened and endangered species in New England and worldwide and essential community outreach efforts, such as the Zoomobile, which bring science and environmental education to thousands of local school-aged children and other participants each year.
Zoobilee! is presented by BankRI and is supported by sponsorships and contributions from several area businesses, charitable organizations and individuals working together to make this year’s celebration a wild success!
Tickets to the over-21 event are $150 per person. Sponsorship opportunities range from $500 to $10,000 and include early VIP admission tickets to the event and special recognition in Zoobilee! promotional materials.
