HALF-PRICE WINTER WONDER DAYS & FREE DAY- DEC.27TH WITH FOOD DONATION
PROVIDENCE, RI (December 9, 2025) Roger Williams Park Zoo is keeping the holiday spirit going and inviting guests to enjoy the Zoo all winter long with two special offers.
First up, the Zoo will host a Free Admission Day on Saturday, December 27, welcoming visitors from 10 am–3 pm. In the spirit of giving, guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. Thanks to our friends at Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses, who are generously donating a truck and staff for the day, every item collected will go directly to helping local families.
Then, from January 1 through February 28, 2026, visitors can enjoy half-price admission. It’s a great time to bundle up, breathe in some fresh air, and see what your favorite animals are up to during the cooler months. Members do not need advance tickets, and all other guests should purchase tickets online. The Zoo is open Thursday through Monday, 10 am–4 pm and during Providence schools’ vacations.
“We love giving our community more reasons to get outside and visit,” said Stacey Johnson, the Zoo’s executive director. “Whether you join us for Free Day or take advantage of half-price winter wonder days admission, we’re excited to welcome everyone to the Zoo.”
