Isn’t it Wild? Bactrian camels, distinguished by their double humps, are well-adapted to arid environments. The humps store fat, which can be converted into energy during periods of scarcity. These camels are renowned for their remarkable ability to survive extended periods without water. When water is available, they can consume substantial quantities, up to 35 gallons at a time. To conserve moisture, Bactrian camels minimize sweating and produce highly concentrated urine.
