Our golden lion tamarins were given an unpeeled banana for a delicious snack that doubled as enrichment! They had to work together to peel it open using their natural problem solving behaviors. The satisfaction on their faces once the banana was peeled and they were able to enjoy it was priceless! 👏🏼

Ellie is getting her flowers! 🌼 Keeper Courtney grew some dandelions for Ellie the takin as a special treat and a reminder of ‘No Mow May’!

‘No Mow May’ is a movement that encourages everyone to hold off on mowing their lawns in the early spring to prevent damaging dandelions and other flowers that provide nectar and pollen for hungry bees and other important pollinators. Mowing less allows for habitats to flourish and increases the diversity of wildlife. 🐝🌻🦋
