Roger Williams Park Zoo Welcome a New Golden Lion Tamarin Baby
The Zoo's latest endangered golden lion tamarin was born last Thursday, August 11 to father Kyle and mother Raff (pronounced Rafe).

The new baby will also share mom and dad with siblings Angus and Boudica.

Critically Endangered Red Pup Born at Roger Williams Park Zoo
Roger Williams Park Zoo is elated to announce the birth of a red wolf pup, the world’s most endangered canid species, as part of the red wolf breeding program.

Born at the Zoo on May 5, mom Brave (aged 6) has been observed carefully tending to her little one. This is a historic birth for the Zoo and an emblem of hope for the survival of this species. Only 15-20 red wolves remain in the wild, and they are all located in eastern North Carolina.
