Director of Conservation Programs Honored with Prestigious Award by USFWS

Updated Mask Policy
Roger Williams Park Zoo & Carousel Village will follow the Rhode Island Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s updated recommendations and guidelines regarding mask wearing.

The Zoo and Carousel Village will no longer require fully vaccinated visitors to wear a mask outdoors or indoors*. Individuals who are not fully vaccinated will be required to wear a mask when social distancing cannot be maintained outdoors and when entering all indoor locations.

4th Annual Endangered Species Youth Art Contest
Roger Williams Park Zoo is raising awareness about the importance of protecting endangered species and their habitats through its 4th annual Endangered Species Youth Art Contest.

The Zoo and co-sponsor Jerry’s Artarama of Providence invite local K-12 grade students and homeschoolers in the New England area to create art depicting threatened/endangered species.

Contest designs will be judged on creativity, originality, and meeting art specifications.
