Roger Williams Park Zoo Offers Two Sensory-Friendly Nights at the Annual Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular

Providence, RI (September 16, 2026) Designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and sensory processing differences, this special night features 5,000 illuminated pumpkins without music or special effects, creating a more accessible experience.

Discounted tickets for sensory-friendly nights are available for purchase in person only at the Zoo’s admissions booth. (Note: Sounds will turn back on at 6 pm)

During this time, guests can enjoy the full wonder of thousands of illuminated pumpkins along the Zoo’s Wetlands Trail without music or special effects, creating a more accessible experience.

Dates: October 20th and 21st, 5-6 pm Time: 5:00 to 6:00 PM (Please note: music begins at 6:00 PM, so we recommend early arrival)

Tickets: Available for purchase in person only at the Zoo’s admissions booth on the evening of the event.
