The Zoo opens at 10 am year round. Please plan your arrival accordingly. Groups can submit an online reservation in advance, but all groups should plan to pay in full at time of visit with cash, check or credit card (purchase orders not accepted). For full information, please read Groups Policies & Procedures prior to booking your trip or check out the Zoo's general FAQs.
2019 Meal Deals are also available and give your group both flexibility and access to a delicious meal. Choose the plan that works best for you.
Enhance the experience by using a field trip resource guide: Grade 1 guide, Grade 2 guide, Grade 3 guide. To request additional resources, please contact Andrea Stein, manager of school programs, at firstname.lastname@example.org. For questions on booking, please contact the Group Sale Department at (401) 467-0150.
Enjoy the full Roger Williams Park Zoo experience, plus a private program for a bit of extra fun, learning and discovery - and perhaps even an up-close encounter with one of our education animals! Our programs meet Rhode Island educational benchmarks, making them a valuable add-on to a school field trip, or for any group.
If you’d prefer to let the members of your group visit on their own whenever they choose, you may purchase advance group tickets. Advance group tickets are offered at the group rate with a minimum of 10 tickets per order. Ticket orders will take 7 to 10 business days and are non-refundable.
