Happy World Turtle Day! 🐢🥬 Some crunchy snacks make for the perfect treat to celebrate these incredible creatures.

Our Aldabra tortoises, red-footed tortoises, and radiated tortoises are just a few species of turtles we have here at the Zoo. (Yes, all tortoises are turtles!) We hope you can come visit them, and the rest of the turtles that call our Zoo home to celebrate today! 💚

Kick off the holiday weekend the right way at Food Truck Friday at Carousel Village! 🥳 Starting at 5 PM, grab your lawn chairs and head over to enjoy 15+ amazing local food trucks, carousel rides, live music by Beth Killian Music 🎸, and ice-cold drinks from Good Vibes Beverages 🍻. Don’t worry about the hassle - there are plenty of parking spots throughout the park.

Giving our tree roos their flowers (literally & metaphorically) for World Tree Kangaroo Day! 💗🌸

Native to the mountainous cloud forests of Papua New Guinea, the endangered Matschie's Tree Kangaroo functions as an indicator species. This means the health of their population directly reflects the health of their entire ecosystem. By spreading awareness about these marvelous marsupials, we can continue to help protect them and their habitats for generations to come!
