Tadpole Academy (Ages 4 - 5)

Tadpole Academy is a great way to introduce 4 - 5 year olds to ZooCamp. Each session runs from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm and includes stories, crafts, games, encounters with wild animal ambassadors and zoo exploration in safe, small groups. Each Tadpole Academy camper receives a ZooCamp t-shirt, and an opportunity to feed the goats in the ALEX AND ANI Farmyard. 

Please note: All Tadpole Academy campers must be completely toilet trained (requiring no assistance in the bathroom).

Theme: Storybook Adventures - Explore the world of animals through the books of Eric Carle! In this week of Tadpole Academy, campers will learn all about the animals that have inspired some of their favorite children’s books.

Important Camp Information
Please Read Before Registering

Important ZooCamp Info

  • Registration for Winter and Spring ZooCamps begins at 9:00 am on Wednesday, January 12th.  Registration deadlines are two weeks prior to your desired week of camp, but camps may sell out prior to deadlines.
  • Registration for Summer ZooCamps begins at 9:00 am on Wednesday, February 9th. Registration deadlines are two weeks prior to your desired week of camp, but camps may sell out prior to deadlines.
  • Campers must be the minimum age of each camp at the time of attending camp. Requirements are not negotiable and are strictly enforced. RWP Zoo reserves the right to cancel your registration if your camper does not meet the minimum age requirement.
  • Refunds, minus a $30.00 registration fee per camper, will be given through February 1, 2022, for Winter ZooCamps, April 1, 2022, for Spring ZooCamps, and June 1, 2022, for Summer ZooCamps. Absolutely no refunds will be given after these dates.
  • $25 sibling discount applies to all ZooCamps. First registration at full price, $25 applied to each sibling thereafter. Siblings must be registered within the same account.
  • Pre-paid lunch options for Winter and Spring for full-day campers are available. For $8.00/day, choose from cheese pizza, mac, and cheese, a hot dog, or a turkey & cheese sandwich.  All come with a 100% juice fruit punch and a piece of fruit packaged in recyclable and compostable containers. Prices and options subject to change for Summer Camp 2022.

Updated for 2022: Aftercare only available for pre-registration 

  • For those parents that need a bit more time, we offer after camp care Monday - Friday from 3:30-5:30 for $25/day or $90/week per camper. Aftercare must be pre-registered and can be added up to two weeks prior to your camp start date.
